Yom Ha'atzmaut on the slopes of Table Mountain
What an incredible day we had celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut 75 years with the Cape Town Jewish community! The South African Zionist Federation - Cape Council and United Herzlia Schools partnered up to make this event one to remember.
Over 2200 people attended this amazing celebration on the slopes of Table Mountain. The atmosphere was electric with so many people coming together to celebrate Israel's independence day.
The event was packed with exciting activities such as fun rides, delicious food, and a market with wonderful goodies for sale. And the music was out of this world! We were treated to amazing performances by DJ Fleischi, Ivor Joffe and the Herzlia Vocal Ensemble, GoodLuck band, and DJ Yos.
It was a fantastic day of celebration and unity! We're so grateful to our special volunteers and service providers who contributed to the success of the event. And huge thank you to our primary sponsor, The Eric Samson Legacy Fund without whom this event would not have been possible.
