I met Mr Eric Samson once and had the privilege to shake his hand.
I just want to give thanks to the Samson family - Being employed by Macsteel, I could look after my family and currently looking after my father and foster child.
Giving is truly the greatest reward.

My Dear friend, the late Eric Samson Z"L, has gone to his eternal rest. His memory lives on through his good deeds and his generosity. During his days on earth he used his wealth, his contacts and his erudition to change the world from what it was to what it can be.
In all my years working with Eric, I never once asked him for money. He was always the first to put up his hand for so many Jewish and non-Jewish causes.

I will stand with Israel and spread love. My great grandpa served in the war isrealy and american wars and got shot 2 times once in the but and once in the arm. He also was deaf in one ear and had a big scar on half of his face, he never complained so I really miss his and I met him many times so I want to do acts of kindness to remember him

I had so much fun cutting my hair for Zichron Menachem because of the Eric Samson Legacy.
If you don't know what Zichron Menachem is, it is a campaign that you cut your hair for jews with cancer in Israel, It was an amazing and memorable experience but I would not be as special as it was without the Eric Samason Legacys help. Hopfully everyone in Israel with Cancer will have a wig and will get better.

I am so grateful for the Eric Samson Leagacy Fund funding our Grade 6 Shabaton. It was such an amazing experience and I connected myself with my Hashem. The food was delicious and I really had a great time saying prayers and singing Jewish songs.

Eric is forever remembered for how he positively impacted the lives of so many, in South Africa, Israel, America add the Jewish world at large. To hear how he was so highly regarded, respected and loved by so many who worked for him and the organizations he supported is truly admirable and inspiring. My memory of the late dear Eric is one of Jewish leadership, Zionist values, modesty, a heart of gold, and caring to help those in need and to strengthen the State of Israel. He was an allied force for all of us sharing the same values who could always be depended on. I really hope younger generations emulate his amazing values.

I still feel Eric zt”l smiling so strongly. Rabbi David Geffen zt”l always taught me that the shape of a smile is like a cup to catch the blessings. In Eric’s honour I have tried to lift hearts and raise smiles around the world during these desperately sad times. I will continue to do this in his merit. He inspires us all to keep going, keep growing and keep glowing more than words can say. We love you all and wish you long days.

I cut my hair for Zichron Manachem where you cut your hair for children with cancer and the joy it gave me that I and giving away something so close to me and understand that it is going to put a smile on a face is just amazing while the generosity of Eric Samson to fund the whole thing.
